Advocacy Efforts: The American Diabetes Association continues to push for increased federal research funding and improved access to diabetes care.
Educational Opportunities:

  • Penn State Extension will offer virtual “Dining With Diabetes” classes this fall.
  • YMCA/LIVESTRONG and local partners are running several community health and fitness programs.
    Men’s Health: Articles and resources highlight men’s health issues related to diabetes and the value of preventive care.
    Practical Resources: Travel tips for people with Type 1 diabetes and free live virtual cooking classes from the ADA provide useful, actionable advice.
